Office Hours

We are open to serve you, answer questions or schedule an appointment during the following hours:

Tuesday: 8:00 am – 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday: 8:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Thursday: 12:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Our Mission

At our office, we ensure that patients receive the most advanced orthodontic care. With patient care as our top priority, this is our commitment to you.

Appointments

Your scheduled appointment time has been reserved specifically for you. We request 24-hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment. We are aware that unforeseen events sometimes require missing an appointment, and we appreciate your cooperation.

  • First Visit: is a consultation which will determine the nature of the problem, estimated treatment time, prognosis and cost. This visit is usually 20-30 minutes in duration.
  • Second Visit: is a records visit (can be scheduled with consultation). At this time, the models, digital photographs and cephalometric X-ray and panorex is taken. The visit time is about an hour and is always completed in the morning or early afternoon. A note will be given to all patients for absence or late arrival to school or work.
  • Third Visit: the appliances are placed. At this visit, the brackets, bands and archwires – or the appropriate appliance – will be placed. Instructions will be given for home care, oral hygiene and treatment guidelines. This procedure is always completed in the morning or early afternoon, without exception. This visit time is about an hour.
  • Adjustment Visits: can be completed at any time during the day. These are usually the bulk of the treatment visits. We will attempt to work them around your schedule. These visits are usually 15 minutes long.

Insurance

Our office is committed to helping you maximize your insurance benefits. Because insurance policies vary, we can only estimate your coverage in good faith but cannot guarantee coverage due to the complexities of insurance contracts. Your estimated patient portion must be paid as per the contract agreement. As a service to our patients, we will bill insurance companies for services. If you have any questions, our courteous staff is always available to answer them.

Broken Brackets

In order to maintain our schedule, we must know in advance if you require the extra time needed to bond new brackets and replace arch wires. We will only repair broken brackets and wires before 2 pm. We cannot do time-consuming repairs after school. The office must be made aware if there are any broken brackets at the time the appointment is made or in an emergency at the time of the telephone call.

Broken/Lost Appliances

Our lab will repair broken appliances (retainer, etc.) if possible. Patients will be responsible for that fee, regardless of insurance coverage. Lost appliances will be assessed at the same cost as new ones. It is suggested that people keep a watchful eye on their appliances, to avoid extended treatment time and increased costs.
